2025 FLEXIBLE REFUND CANCELLATION POLICY
NEW feature for 2025: You now are able to self-cancel your registrations! Simply log into our Club SciKidz app or your Active account via internet browser to proceed! You may still email us for cancellation assistance if needed.
If you enroll in camp and your plans change, you can cancel and receive a refund or credit according to our policy. Our policy encourages early decisions so as not to affect other customers or our ability to efficiently deliver our programs. It is also based on the fact that supplies are purchased for your child in early Spring. Because we cover Active’s registration fees for you, each registration cancellation will incur a fee to cover administrative costs. There are no exceptions. This fee is built into our policy timetable outlined below.
CAMP TRANSFER:
If your child is not able to attend their scheduled camp week(s), we recommend trying to transfer their registration(s) to a different week or location. The new camp week(s) must be within the same summer season, and must have availability. All transfer requests must be submitted at least 1 week before the camp’s start date. We cannot process a transfer within 1 week of the start date or after a camp week has begun.
If you are beyond the self-transfer transfer or wish for us to handle the transfer, please follow these instructions.
Once you have determined your new selection(s), email us at supportoc@clubscikidz.com.com with the subject line “Transfer Request.” Be sure to include your camper’s full name and complete details about which camp registration(s) to transfer.
Example: “Please transfer John Smith’s camp “Minecraft Camp” the week of June 13 at ST. James UMC to camp “Great Masters” the week of June 27 at Bridgepoint Church.”
CAMP CANCELLATION:
If you are not able to make a transfer work with your schedule (see above), you can cancel for a partial refund or account credit according to the timetable below.

ILLNESS/INJURY: if your child has an unexpected illness (ex: flu/strep/Covid etc) or injury (ex: broken leg) that prevents them from attending the entire week of camp, please contact us immediately. After a Dr’s note is provided, 100% of the camp tuition will be credited to your account for the following summer.
Account credits are valid for 1 year, can be used for any Club SciKidz South Bay/Orange County camps; and can be used for any member of your family. You will receive first access to register for the upcoming season if you have an account credit on file.
It is camp policy that no refunds will be made in connection with late arrivals, early withdrawals, a camper not liking their camp’s theme, or camp dismissals due to misconduct. Missed days of camp are not refunded or transferred (e.g. missed Friday and want to come back next week for a day. However, we will do our best to provide you with any materials missed, such as robots, when applicable).
You may now cancel your registrations yourself via the Club SciKidz app! You may also email us for help or questions at supportoc@clubscikidz.com.
Example: “Please cancel John Smith’s camp “Master Minecraft Coder” the week of June 10 at Lutheran Church of The Resurrection as he is unable to attend.”
You will receive an automated email from Active once any changes have been processed. Please verify that all camp change details are reflected correctly. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask!
